Mini-Meets are small, inter-squad meets held at the Salem Com­mu­nity Cen­ter every month to two months.

The cost is always $7 for any mem­ber reg­is­tered with Salem Area Swim­ming for the cur­rent sea­son, whether you are cur­rently active or inac­tive. Guests (fam­ily, friends, for­mer mem­bers, alumni) are $10 for the meet. Swim­mers can swim max­i­mum of three events. Cur­rent mem­bers of SAS must choose three events or they will be cho­sen for you!

Entries are always due at the prac­tice BEFORE the mini-meet. Meets are usu­ally on Sun­days which means entries are due the Thurs­day prior. You can e-mail your entries by mid­night on the dead­line or bring the form to prac­tice. THERE ARE NO DECK ENTRIES FOR THE MEET. If you do not enter your child, and you show up at the mini-meet, your child WILL NOT swim. The only excep­tions are staff error.

These meets are for FUN and swim­mers are encour­aged to try new strokes and/or dis­tances. There are no DQ’s. The meets last approx­i­mately 45 min-1 hour. They are fast, fun, and every­one has a great time. Usu­ally, we will do some type of team social/activity after the mini-meets.

Par­ents and fam­ily are encour­aged to attend to cheer on your swimmers!
